MVP is very useful in many flavor compositions including brown cocoa, coffee, vanilla, strawberry, or even savory meat and smoke flavors. The product can also be used in alcoholic flavorings, like Whiskey- and Rum-flavors.
When it comes to perfumery, this spicy material can be an advantageous replacement for products like Eugenol at a much lower dosage and therefore could reduce the coloration problem in applications.

Flavor: The dosage in finished consumer products varies between 0,05 and 1 ppm.
Fragrances: The dosage varies from traces up to 0.1%
