Dihydroambrettolide has an excellent performance in alcoholic solutions and on human skin. It can support delicate floral notes as well as typical Ambre notes or discreet animalic tones and combines beautifully with methyl ionones, vetiver derivatives and aldehyde blends.
Dosage in flavor can range up to 10 ppm.
Dosage in fragrances goes up to 5%.
